Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This membership privacy notice builds on the privacy commitments published by Kofi Koranteng for Ghana and explains how information submitted through the NVM Members App is handled.

Information we collect

When you join, we collect your name, gender, email address, phone number, location, membership tier, photo, signature and account-security information. We also record payment status, card issuance, downloads, QR verification activity and basic technical information used to protect the service.

How we use your information

We use this information to operate your account, process membership, issue and verify your digital ID, provide member resources, send service and movement updates, prevent abuse, maintain records and comply with legal obligations.

Payments

Payments are processed by the payment provider you select. NVM does not store raw card numbers. Providers may process information under their own privacy terms in order to complete and manage your payment.

Sharing and sale of information

NVM does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the membership service, when you consent, or where disclosure is required by law. Public verification displays only your photo, name, member number, tier, location, join date and membership status.

Security and retention

Private photos, signatures, cards and account data are protected by access controls. We retain information for as long as needed to provide membership, meet legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes and protect the movement from fraud or misuse.

Your choices

You may update eligible profile details in your member area and opt out of optional updates using the instructions in a message. You may contact NVM to ask about access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.
